Tsvetana Kyoseva

Prof. Tsvetana Kyoseva, PhD, historian and researcher, director of the National Museum of History, lecturer in Museology at the Faculty of History of Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski ". The topics of her studies are related to the New History of Bulgaria: the Third Bulgarian Kingdom, the cultural heritage, Bulgarian-Russian and Bulgarian-Soviet relations, history, theory and practice of the museum work. She is the author of over ten books among which "Bulgaria and the Russian Emigration (20s - 50s of the 20th Century)" (2002), "The First Ladies (2010), "The Beautiful Faces of Terror (Small Stories from the Police Archives)" (2013), "The 50 Most Powerful Women in Bulgarian History" (2014), "True Stories of the Third Bulgarian Kingdom "(2016) and others. Compiler and one of the authors in the collection "The Royal Collections in Bulgarian Museums, Archives and Libraries" (2004).

Tsvetana Kyoseva is also related to city of Stara Zagora. In 2000, together with the researcher Nedy Aleksandrov, she published in Stara Zagora the book "With Christ and Macedonia in the Heart: Pages from the Life of Metropolitan Methodius Kusev (1838-1922)". Over the years Prof. Kyoseva participated in conferences, celebrations, opening exhibitions related to personalities and events from the history of our region and our national history. Several times she presents her books in the Hall of the Regional Library "Zahary Knyazheski".
