How to order

Order Terms

Each book can be added to the cart by clicking the "Buy" button. The amount you see is the retail price of the book, and if the title is among our discounted books, you will see both the retail price and the promotional price it is currently offered at. After making your selection, click on the cart to see detailed information about the ordered titles. You can change the quantity, add a new title, or cancel a previously selected item.

After clicking the "Order" button, you will be redirected to a page to complete the process - choose a payment option, fill in the correct delivery details, and provide billing information (if desired). You will also see any discounts available based on the site’s conditions.

Once your order is completed, you will receive an email with details about all the ordered books, the information you provided, and the amount to be paid. The shipping cost for the books you selected is fixed and will be added to the book prices.

After receiving an order from a customer, its validity will be checked.

The customer is obliged to provide accurate and valid phone and delivery address information, pay for the goods and delivery (if applicable), ensure access to receive the goods, and accept the order. The payment and delivery methods are agreed upon in the order form.

The customer is required to pay for the goods within the specified time and by the chosen method, as well as cover any potential transport costs.

It is recommended to use Cyrillic writing in the Bulgarian version of the site.

What is PRE-ORDER?

Books in PRE-ORDER status are those that have not yet been printed (usually the publication date is within 8-30 days).

The "Iztok-Zapad" website may feature upcoming titles with this status that are already available for sale. Some of them may have a special price (lower than the retail price), valid until the release date (the publication date of the book is clearly stated; the publisher reserves the right to change it, but you have the right to cancel if the new publication date is not suitable).

The steps for pre-ordering with PRE-ORDER status are the same as ordering already available titles.

A PRE-ORDER allows you to receive and pay for a specific edition at a preferential price, with all payment options and order conditions remaining valid. Processing occurs after the announced release date, and delivery is within the standard period (up to 3 working days).

When your order contains books with different statuses (available and PRE-ORDER), we reserve the right to fulfill the entire order once the PRE-ORDER books are available, i.e., after the announced release date.

Delivery Conditions

Ordered goods are delivered to a personal address or office of the courier company, as specified by the customer. The customer is obligated to ensure access and the possibility of receiving the goods and is responsible for visiting the courier office listed for delivery.

The ordered book will be delivered suitably packed according to its type and the transportation used. The supplier confirms the information in the order electronically no later than at the time of delivery or the contract’s execution.

The order is delivered within 3 working days by a courier company to the specified address, provided it is valid and the customer is at the address.

If the customer cannot be reached during the delivery period at the specified address or fails to ensure access and conditions for handover, the order is considered invalid, and the supplier is released from the obligation to deliver.

If the customer confirms their intention to receive the order after the delivery period has passed, they will bear the cost of re-delivery. Any transport costs are paid upon receipt.

If a third party is designated to receive and confirm the delivery on behalf of the original customer, they are required to pay the set price for the goods. Any changes to the delivery are at the customer's expense, according to the courier's prices.

Cancellation and Return of Ordered Goods

According to Article 55 of the Consumer Protection Act (ZPP), you have the right to cancel purchased goods within 14 working days from the date you receive the goods. The transport costs for returning the goods to the supplier are fully borne by the customer.

You must keep the received goods, their quality, packaging, safety, and accompanying documentation during this period.

If you wish to cancel your purchase, the goods must be returned in the condition and packaging in which you received them, with accompanying documentation. Otherwise, the return will be subject to negotiation on compensation for use.

A customer who has ordered books from the online store at https://iztok-zapad.eu has the right to refuse to accept a book upon delivery only in the following cases:

1. If the book or its packaging is damaged during transport. The refusal must be made at the time of delivery.

2. If there are missing items or the delivered order clearly does not match what was ordered, and this could not be determined at the time of receipt. Complaints must be made immediately upon delivery and no later than one month after delivery.

3. If visible defects or packaging integrity issues are found due to improper transportation, the customer is not required to sign the delivery documents and must immediately notify the supplier. In case of a complaint, the customer can request a replacement, as per Articles 113 and 114 of the Consumer Protection Act.

According to Article 57 of the Consumer Protection Act, you have no right to cancel an e-book order once you have been informed and have confirmed your agreement.

Restrictions

Users of the site have the right to freely use its resources, except for the limitations described in the Terms and Conditions and other valid restrictions.

If registered users or visitors overload the site with fictitious requests or in any other way, Iztok-Zapad reserves the right to impose access restrictions by IP addresses and file claims for damages from misuse.

Users may not engage in actions that violate common communication rules, malicious acts, or damage third-party rights and interests.

Compensations

The customer is obligated to indemnify Iztok-Zapad and any third parties for all damages and lost profits, including any expenses and paid legal fees resulting from claims by or paid compensations to third parties in connection with non-fulfillment of obligations under this agreement, violation of Bulgarian legislation, these Terms and Conditions, good morals, or internet etiquette. The customer is also obligated to indemnify Iztok-Zapad for any damages caused by third parties to whom they have provided their password.

Others

Iztok-Zapad reserves the right to send promotional messages to registered users or customers who have placed an order on the website. Exceptions are made for those who explicitly requested not to receive them.

Iztok-Zapad has the right to modify and update the services provided through its website without prior notice.

Iztok-Zapad is not responsible if the user has not read the most recent version of the current Terms and Conditions published on the website.
