Violeta Penushlieva

Violeta Penushlieva was born in the town of Pleven.

Theater and poetry have marked her path.

She is a laureate at the third Republican Artistic Language Festival.

After long years in theater, today there is only poetry. She has published 11 books.

She is also Chief Secretary of the Union of Independent Bulgarian Writers. Member of the Poetry Review Committee.
She has awards for haiku poetry and also received the prestigious big poetry prize of the Bulgarian National Opera House "Joseph Petrov".

A member of the World Haiku Association. She was also a chairman of a jury in haiku competitions.
