W. Ray Crozier, Lynn E. Alden

Raymond Crozier is currently an Honorary Professor in the School of Social Sciences, Cardiff University. He undertakes research in Emotion, Personality Psychology and Social Psychology, more specifically into shyness, blushing, shame and embarrassment, and the psychology of art. His work on shyness involves children as well as adults. One current project concerns shyness and adjustment among school children and one aspect of this is in collaboration with fellow researchers in Oslo and Oxford.


Lynn E. Alden, Ph.D., is a clinical psychologist and Professor of Psychology at the University of British Columbia (Vancouver, British Columbia). Her research interests include studying the role of cognitive interpersonal processes in anxiety disorders with a focus on Social Anxiety Disorders and Post-traumatic Stress Disorder
