Същевременно се съгласява с оценката на сп. „Нюзуик“, че Теодосий „е създал нов музикален жанр“. Ако приемем това малко по журналистически пресилено твърдение, кой е този жанр? Как да назовем музиката, която прави Теодосий? Всъщност той прави по различни времена различни музики – в това ни убеждава и Гаджев в книгата си. Но нито Теодосий Спасов се е произнесъл по въпроса, нито неговият музиконаблюдател и животоописател Владо Гаджев се е опитал да го стори еднозначно и категорично. И с право не го правят. Просто въпросът за назоваването не е релевантен. Както са казвали и показвали много авторитети – в музиката може без еднозначни класификатори. В рока такъв е Франк Запа.
