On the eve of the 100th anniversary of the end of the First World War, the long-awaited third book of "The World for the Bulgarian Warrior" is released. Based on leading periodicals in France, Germany, England, Austro-Hungary, etc., as well as memoirs and diaries of combatants, the Bulgarian Armed Forces battle against Serbian, Anglo-French, Greek, Romanian, Russian troops. Of particular interest are the descriptions of French and Englishmen who participated in the struggles of the Southern Front. There is also a section entitled "Waffenbrüderschaft - Combat Comradeship" about military and wider contacts between Germans and Bulgarians during the war. A special place is dedicated to the rarely discussed topic about the Bulgarian prisoners of war and the less well-known Bulgarian Camel Corps. There are also various curiosities, such as the inclusion of the Atonian Bulgarian monks in the struggle against the Serbs.
On the whole, our men feel no special resentment against the Bulgar as an enemy. They will tell you, in fact, several stories of instances in which he has behaved chivalrously in battle, in the way of letting wounded men be brought in, even by means of ambulance wagons within short range of the Bulgar positions.
