Rumyana Chukova is a research fellow at the Institute for Historical Research in the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, researcher with scientific interests in the theory of nation and nationalism, Bulgarian historiography, the new and latest Balkan history, author of the monographs "Nation and Nationalism in Bulgarian History" and "Problem East-West - transformation in the new and latest times" and others.
