Description

In this book are included today's current terms, some of which are in discussion, others are the products of the neo-avant-garde movement.

Traditional philosophical aesthetics are speculative. Modern aesthetics prefer to descend from the theoretical heights and to be in a direct contact with artistic processes. This associates it with art science, which is why it borrows some art-wise terms. The cultural approach must not affect the characteristics of the terms. Regarding the neo-avant-garde, let's not forget: his element is art - he makes his most extreme moves that set the foundations of a new aesthetics: the avant-garde aesthetics.

In this vocabulary you will not find traditional notions such as a wonderful, tragic, comical, aesthetic taste, aesthetic ideal, aesthetic value, harmony, etc. There is an advantage of topical, discussion, less usable or neglected terms. Their selection depends on their importance and on the innovative moments put into traditional but already updated concepts.

The avant-garde aesthetics enters its terminology, but it can not be presented exhaustively here. Also included are terms referring to some unconventional forms (ready made, installation, performance) or the poorly known terms in Bulgaria (decolation, packing, performative installation). This is due to the fact that as a differentiating branch of general aesthetics, that of the avant-garde already operates with its own terminology.
