Panayot Madjarov
Panayot Madjarov is the son of Kera Madjarova (born in 1896 in the village of Sirmashik, present-day Brashlyan, died on 18 June 1990 in Sofia), who is a prominent representative of Strandzha folklore and is known as one of the best informants about Bulgarian folklore.
Panayot Madjarov himself is a long-time researcher of the Strandzha region, author and compiler of seven books on folklore and the history of the Eastern Thracian Bulgarians.
