The name of Olga Markova, a doctor of art studies, has been present for more than thirty years both on the pages of periodical and specialized printing, as well as on radio and television broadcasts. It is usually associated with the problems of art, mostly with the cinema of today and its representatives. She is the author of significant studies on the seventh art and its relationships with literature, the essence of the process of screening, the role and contribution of the most famous Bulgarian writers in building the artistic appearance of Bulgarian cinema, as well as a number of creative portraits, monographs, reviews, interviews. She has published a number of books, some of which have been re-published: "From Literature to Screen", "One Hour with ...", "Cinema - Art or Auction", "The Screen - Arena of Opinions and Fates", "The Role of Bulgarian Culture in the world civilization"(in English).
