Konstantin Dushenko (compilation)

Konstantin Vasilievich Dushenko (October 16, 1946, Moscow) is a Russian translator, culturologist and historian. He is an employee of the Institute of Scientific Information on Social Sciences of the Russian Academy of Sciences. Translator from Polish language, both on fiction and non-fiction literature. In particular, he translated many works by Stanislaw Lem. For his contribution in the field of translation, he received the award from the Republic of Poland "For Services to the Polish Culture". Author of many works devoted to clarifying the roots of many popular idioms and expressions of modern Russian language.
