Ivo Možný

Ivo Možný (1932–2016) was a Czech sociologist, pedagogue, founder and first dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences of Masaryk University in Brno, Czech Republic. He is the founder of the "sociological school in Brno", as well as sociology as an academic discipline in post-Soviet Czechoslovakia. He focuses mainly on family sociology, sociology of intimacy and social policy.
