Hristo Bukovski

Hristo Bukovski is a graduated lector in Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski ". Most of his publications are connected to the Bulgarian history, the Christian spiritual life of Bulgarians and rituals in the mystical folk practices. His researches on the life and the spiritual preparations of the Bulgarian saints from the end of the 18th and the beginning of the 19th century, which was published under the title “Mystical flights from Fear to Love ", received in 2000 the prize of the Union of the Bulgarian Writers.

He was also the author of the novels "Let the poor Witcher die" "Whose Game You Played, Obbov," "Obsessed" and others. His other books are "Greet the Survivors," "The Confidant", "Circumstances around success (Journalist non-fiction)". His richly illustrated historical insights "Bulgaria" and "Sofia" were published in luxurious volumes in English, German, French, Spanish, Italian and Russian.

He is a member of The Union of Bulgarian Journalists and the Union of the Bulgarian Writers.
