Guy Bechtel

Guy Bechtel is a prominent French historian who has devoted his research to the place of the woman in the history of the Christian world, the civilization of the Mediterranean and Languedoc; his book "Gutenberg and the Invention of Paper Printing" was awarded the Special Prize of the French Academy in 1993.
