The Unknown Sofia

The book includes 950 most impressive and attractive collection materials, containing postage and advertising cards, pictures, documents, letters, autographs, membership cards and many others.

All this has been collected by Ivan Burnev - Bubby for more than ten years and thanks to him we can see the city in a light unknown to many of us. In the presented edition, we tried to select from over 3500 different materials, with the main emphasis being postcards and the presentation of other materials has additional characteristics reflecting the spirit of time and the full disclosure of the life of both ordinary Sofia citizen and the Royal Palace, the surrounding villages or the Gypsy Quarter.
