The present general terms and conditions regulate the work of "Iztok-Zapad TM" Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Iztok-Zapad) regarding the sale of products on the website iztok-zapad.eu to its users.
By accessing this website and the information contained on it, you acknowledge that you are familiar with and agree to the terms below and agree to the regulations for mutual rights and obligations set forth in these conditions.
Iztok-Zapad provides its customers with the opportunity to purchase goods from this online store /website/ by placing an order and paying the corresponding sale price for the goods and services, provided that the customer complies with and adheres to the present General Terms and Conditions.
Iztok-Zapad has the right to make any changes to its corporate policy and these conditions without prior notice.

Ordering Conditions
Each book can be added to the shopping cart by clicking the "Buy" button. The amount you see is the book's cover price, and if the title is among our discounted books, you will see both the cover price and the promotional price at the moment. After selecting, click on the cart and you will see detailed information about the ordered titles. You can change the quantity, add a new title, or cancel a previously selected one.
After clicking the "Order" button, you will be redirected to a page to complete the order, select a payment method, fill in the correct delivery details, and enter invoice data (if desired). Here you will also see any discount you may receive according to the website's conditions.
After completing your order, you will receive an email containing all the books ordered, your entered information, and the payment amount. The shipping cost for the selected books is fixed and is added to the book prices.
After receiving the order from the customer, its validity will be checked.
The customer is obliged to provide accurate and valid phone and delivery address, pay the price of the goods and delivery (if applicable), ensure access and opportunity to receive the goods, and accept the order. The payment and delivery methods are agreed upon in the order form.
The customer is obliged to pay for the ordered goods within the specified period and by the chosen method in the order, as well as to pay any potential transportation costs.
It is recommended to use Cyrillic in the Bulgarian version of the site.
What is PRE-ORDER?
Books in the PRE-ORDER status are those that have not yet been printed (usually the release date is within 8-30 days).
On the Iztok-Zapad website, there may be upcoming titles with this status, but they are announced for sale. Some of them may have a special price (lower than the cover price), valid until the release date (the release date is explicitly stated; the publisher reserves the right to change it, but you have the right to cancel if the new release date is not convenient for you).
The steps for pre-ordering with the PRE-ORDER status are the same as for ordering already available titles.
Your PRE-ORDER gives you the opportunity to get and pay for the specific edition at the listed price on the website (standard or lower), receive a signed book from the author, or other benefits explicitly stated on the product page of the respective book. The conditions and options for various payment methods, as well as the conditions for the order to be valid, remain the same. The order is processed after the announced release date, and the delivery is made within the standard timeframe (up to 3 working days).
When your order includes books with different statuses (available and PRE-ORDER), we reserve the right to fulfill the entire order only when the PRE-ORDER titles become available, i.e., after the announced release date.
Payments
All orders made on the Iztok-Zapad website are subject to mandatory payment by the customer who placed the order, or their representative. Payment options vary and are properly installed with selection buttons for the customer: cash on delivery (payment upon receipt of the order), by bank transfer, through a financial platform (Epay or PayPal), or by bank card via a virtual POS terminal.
If such a terminal is installed in the system of the website, the following services and information are provided to customers:
Ability to pay with debit/credit card via V-POS.
Types of accepted cards: debit, credit, and business cards Visa, Mastercard, and bCard.
Transactions are conducted through the security programs MasterCard Identity Check and VISA Secure.
We do not store bank card data used for payment via the website.
If a refund is needed for a payment made with a bank card, it will be refunded to the same card.
The customer is obliged to pay for the ordered goods in the specified period and by the chosen method in the order, as well as to pay transportation costs for their delivery, unless explicitly stated otherwise.
Issuing Fiscal Receipts
The procedure and method for issuing fiscal receipts and establishing a remote connection with the National Revenue Agency (NRA) are determined by Ordinance No. N-18 of the Ministry of Finance of 13.12.2006 for registering and reporting sales in commercial establishments via fiscal devices.
Ordinance No. N-18/2006 stipulates that any person is obliged to register and report their sales of goods or services in or from a commercial establishment by issuing a fiscal receipt, unless payment is made via a postal money transfer carried out by a licensed postal operator under the Postal Services Act.
Regardless of the primary accounting document, a fiscal receipt must be issued for each sale, i.e., for each payment, except when payment is made via postal money transfer.
For each order on the website https://iztok-zapad.eu, an invoice is issued. Orders with cash on delivery also have a fiscal receipt attached to the invoice, which also lists all the books in the order.
The courier company employee who delivered or handed over the package to you at the office must issue a receipt only for the shipping cost, which you pay at the time of delivery.
Please keep all documents accompanying your order, as they serve as proof of your payment both to us and to the courier company.
Cancellation and Return of Ordered Goods
Under the provisions of Article 55 of the Consumer Protection Act (CPA), you have the right to cancel purchased goods within 14 working days from the date of receipt of the goods. The transportation costs for returning the rejected regular goods to the supplier are entirely at the customer's expense.
You are obliged to preserve the received goods, their quality, packaging, safety, and accompanying documentation during this period.
If you wish to return purchased books, you must return them in the condition and packaging in which you received them, with the accompanying documentation. Otherwise, the return will be subject to negotiation of compensation for their use.
A customer who has ordered books from the Iztok-Zapad online store at https://iztok-zapad.eu has the right to refuse to accept a book ordered by them when it is delivered only in the following cases, as specified in these conditions:
1. If the book or its packaging is damaged during transport, with the inspection and refusal taking place at the time of receipt of the order. In this case, the customer should not sign the accompanying delivery documents and should immediately notify the supplier. In case of a claim, the customer can request a replacement under Articles 113 and 114 of the CPA.
2. If there are missing items and the delivered order clearly does not match the order placed by the customer and this could not be established at the time of acceptance. Claims must be made only at the time of delivery, and any discrepancies with the agreement must be reported within one month of delivery.
Under Article 57 of the CPA, you do not have the right to refuse if you order an e-book, provided you were informed in advance and confirmed your consent.
Delivery Conditions
Ordered goods are delivered to a personal address, to a courier office, or to an automatic postal station chosen by the customer. The customer undertakes to provide access and the ability to receive the goods and is responsible for visiting the courier office indicated in the order.
The ordered book is delivered appropriately packaged according to its type and the transport used for delivery. Iztok-Zapad confirms the information contained in the order via email, including the order number, no later than the delivery of the order or the execution of the contract.
The order is delivered within 3 working days by a courier company provided that the customer has provided accurate and current delivery information.
If the customer cannot be located within the delivery period at the specified address, or if access and conditions for the delivery of the order are not provided within the regulated timeframe, the order is considered invalid, and the supplier is released from the obligation to deliver.
If the customer confirms they wish to receive their order after the delivery deadline when they were not found at the address, they will bear the cost of the re-delivery. Any additional transportation costs are to be paid upon receipt.
If a third party accepts and confirms the receipt of the order on behalf of the original customer, they are obligated to pay the price for the goods. Any changes to the delivery are to be paid by the customer at the courier company's rates.
What is BOX NOW?
BOX NOW is a courier service through which packages reach automatic postal stations (machines). BOX NOW machines are always located in convenient places in the city, are accessible 24/7, and are powered by their own solar panels.
More about delivery to BOX NOW machine:
• When choosing delivery via BOX NOW machine, you can select the exact location from the list of machines or directly select from the generated map (select your city to view the map with the addresses of machines in it).
• You can change the address you selected by pressing the button again.
• You must pay in advance via bank transfer with a debit/credit card.
• To pick up your order from a BOX NOW machine, you need to enter the PIN code received from the supplier via email, SMS, or Viber with the order confirmation. Once you enter the PIN on-site, the box with your order will open automatically.
IMPORTANT: There is no option for cash payment when delivering to a BOX NOW machine. Payment must be made in advance via bank transfer or with a debit/credit card.
• You can pick up your package from the BOX NOW machine within 48 hours after confirmation that it has been delivered to the automatic postal station. If you do not pick it up within this period, the deadline will automatically extend by another 48 hours.
• The delivery time is usually between 1 and 2 working days after the package is handed over to BoxNow.
• You have 24/7 access to your package in the BOX NOW machine by entering the unique PIN code sent by email, SMS, or Viber after the package is placed in the machine.
• The maximum package size is up to 45x35x25 cm and up to 20 kg.
• Cash on delivery is processed after you receive a payment link by card before picking up the package from the machine.
Limitation of Liability
Iztok-Zapad makes efforts to provide accurate and correct information on its site but does not guarantee its reliability and completeness.
Iztok-Zapad is not responsible for limiting access to the website iztok-zapad.eu or for delays in processing orders caused by extraordinary circumstances beyond its control – random events, problems in the global internet network, force majeure cases, and services outside Iztok-Zapad's control.
Iztok-Zapad is not responsible for damages to software, hardware, telecommunications facilities, or for loss of data arising from materials or resources searched, loaded, or used in any way through the website iztok-zapad.eu.
Iztok-Zapad is not responsible and has no obligation to monitor how customers use the website iztok-zapad.eu.
Other
At Iztok-Zapad, responsible individuals work daily with effort and goodwill to satisfy their customers. In case of potential disputes, we strive to resolve disagreements and/or omissions in a spirit of understanding and goodwill. If agreement is not reached, all unresolved disputes arising from the contract between us and the customer or related to it, including disputes arising or related to its interpretation, invalidity, performance, or termination, as well as disputes for filling gaps in the contract or adapting it to new circumstances, will be resolved judicially by the competent court.
Iztok-Zapad has the right to change and update the services provided through its own website without prior notice.
Iztok-Zapad is not responsible if the user has not read the latest version of these terms and conditions published on the website.
