Ivan Barnev

Ivan Barnev-Bubby is a famous antiquarian expert. He is the author of the only postcard album for the old Sofia, entitled "Unknown Sofia" and the author of the album "Unknown Bulgaria". Photographs and postcards from his collection are published in the two volumes "Sofia's Secrets" and "Passions and Scandals in King's Bulgaria" by Peter Velichkov. The bilingual collections of Ivan Birnev-Bubby - "The Palace of Bulgaria in 1884-1946", "The Royal Family in Bulgaria 1887-1946" and "Unknown Sofia" have won gold medals at world and European philatelic exhibitions.
