The book "The Armenian Civilization" is dedicated to the 1600th anniversary of the creation of the Armenian alphabet.

The creation of the Armenian alphabet is of utmost importance - it unites the Armenian statehood, the Armenian church and the Armenian people, considered precisely in their historical development in the book.

The book presents an overall picture of the development of Armenian material and spiritual culture and the place of the Armenian people in the civilized world. Armenian spirituality, science and philosophy, the diverse manifestations of Armenian culture - including architecture, painting, music and theater - are presented; the characteristic features of the Armenian are highlighted against the background of his life, national symbols, the formation and preservation of his self-consciousness.

Emphasis is placed on the contributions of Armenian civilization and its reflection in all historical and contemporary aspects.
