Dimitar Marinov is a Bulgarian ethnographer, founder and first director of the Ethnographic Museum. He is born 14.10.1846 in Valchedram, Montana. He studied at the Rila Monastery (1863) and at the Military Medical School (Tsarigrad, 1867-71).
