Description

Nobody expected the war in Ukraine. However, it has been in the pipeline for a long time and has been running as a propaganda war for almost a decade before 24 February 2022. This book explores how. The research was done and completed long before the war began and shows the rise of the anti-democratic propaganda wave in Bulgarian print and online media after the fall of 2013 and its massisation after Russia's annexation of Crimea in 2014. It also shows what our societal frustrations this propaganda targets and tries to turn into resentment.
