New edition of one of the best-selling Bulgarian historical books. A work with strange fate (no less strange than the fate of its author). The novel was written in 1944. Its printout burned in the printing house during the bombing. After 1944, the author Yana Yazova was thrown out of the literary life in Bulgaria, and the book is published for the first time in 2002.
