Protuberances

Over the past six years since my book "About Renaissance Bansko, Sofia and the World," I often sat in front of the white sheet and wrote down what I missed. There were thoughts and emotions that overtook me: so much unwritten pages about our family, about the leading figures in it - the deputy-abbot Lavrenti, Hadji Vulcho and especially their little brother - the miracle worker Saint Paisii Hilendarski, who wrote the great Bulgarian book Istoriya Slavyanobolgarskaya. Written in 1762, it is considered Saint Paisius of Hilendar's greatest work and one of the most influential pieces of the Bulgarian revival, as well as the first work of Bulgarian historiography. In "Protuberances" you will find many facts and memoirs in the three hundred year history of Hadzi Vulcho's family.
