Lazar Hadjivalchev

Lazar Hadjivalchev was born in Sofia in 1934. Biologist by education, singer by profession. From centuries his family roots are in the Renaissance Bansko. He is a tenth generation descendant of the powerful and educated merchant -  Hadji Valcho, the brother of the deputy-abbot Lavrentius and Saint Paisii Hilendarski.
