Alexander Kanev teaches contemporary philosophy at Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski". He works on research projects in Vienna (1999) and Salzburg (2000-2001), a scholarship for the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation in Hanover (2007-2009). He is the author of the books Wittgenstein on the limits of language (2003), Western philosophy: paradigms, revolutions, perspectives (2005, in two volumes) and Theory of Philosophical Development (2010).
