The prominent people have always been of interest to both the audience and the professionals, to specialists from all sorts of categories: biographers, critics, researchers and often speculators with the name and creative heritage of a particular person. All of them tried to romanized biographies, to write monographs, to consider separate moments of the life and work of this or that scientist, politician, writer, painter, musician or actor based on existing documents and facts and all that - adorned with many fancy fabrications to the author's text just to make them more interesting" and "more original".
Alexander Bozhinov was a modest, unpretentious and unobtrusive artist in the field of fine arts and literature. With his creative and social activity, he left a deep trace in the history of Bulgarian art and culture from the late XIX century until about the 40s of XX century. As a founder and father of the Bulgarian cartoon, he created a unique era in the development of the cartoon genre in Bulgaria.
