Vicente Haya was born in Seville in 1962. He is a Doctor of Philosophy (his doctoral dissertation is "The Expression of the Sacred in the Japanese Haiku"), a translator of Japanese poetry. He is a student of Raiji Nagakawa. He lives in Nagasaki and Barcelona.
