Veselin Vuchkov

Veselin Vuchkov (b. 1968) was born in the village of Stob, Dupnitsa region. He graduated with a degree in Law from Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski" (1994). He has worked as an investigator and university lecturer. Since 2016, he has been a Professor of Criminal Procedure Law. He writes short stories and serves as a consultant for feature films and documentaries. He has served as a Deputy Minister, a Member of Parliament in two national assemblies, and Minister of Interior. In March 2015, he resigned from his positions as Minister and Member of Parliament.
