Velibor Čolić is a Bosnian writer who was exiled from his home country during the Balkan Wars. His books include Los bosnios, Sarajevo omnibus, and Ederlezi. He was born in Bosnia in 1964. Since 1992 he has lived in France as a writer and freelance music journalist.
He studied Yugoslav literature in Sarajevo and Zagreb. He wrote articles for magazines Eye, Face, Our Days, Fields, Quorum, which were back then dedicated to young intellectuals. After moving to France, he worked as a librarian in Strasbourg, and soon he began writing and publishing his books in French. Since 2004, she has written about rock and jazz music for the French newspaper Dernières Nouvelles d'Assace and holds public lectures on jazz.
