Valerie Perrin is a French writer, stage photographer and screenwriter. For the last ten years she has been working as a co-writer on the latest films of her husband, director Claude Lelouch. After her successful debut novel Les Oubliés du dimanche which won 13 awards, her second novel Changer l'eau des fleurs, published in 2018, brought her even greater popularity. It has been awarded numerous prizes, including the prestigious 2018 Maison de la Presse, and is on Figaro Littérature's list of the 10 best-selling authors in France in 2019. Valerie Perrin is the best-selling author in Italy in 2020. The novel Water for Flowers has been published in 30 countries, including China, the United States and Russia.
