Thomas Wilson

Thomas Wilson was director of the Department of Prehistoric Anthropology at the National Museum of the United States (now Smithsonian). He was involved in the excavation of an Indian tomb in Ohio, where several large copper swastikas were discovered. This unusual discovery provokes Wilson's interest and gives rise to a study which is subsequently described in ba ook, which is considered to be the most comprehensive scientific study of the history and use of the ancient symbol of the swastika.
