The book can be read as an encyclopedic book of prominent Bulgarian women. But it studies the living personal stories of each of its characters. Thus, by preserving the fullness of each individual figure, through the authentic biographical narrative, this study claims to achieve the generalized image, the typology of the Bulgarian woman.

The book is looking for the expressive silhouettes of different types of Bulgarian women (Balkandjika, Haydutka, Svetitsa, Hadjiika, etc) ...Also the Bulgarian women from the middle of the epoch, on the borderline between the traditional and the modern, the oriental and the European ...
