Presentation of "The Tale of the Heike"

Together with the Department of Japanese Studies at Sofia University, we have the pleasure of inviting you to the book premiere of the famous samurai epic "The Tale of the Heike". This is one of the greatest masterpieces of Japanese literature, appearing for the first time in Bulgarian in a complete translation from Old Japanese. The translator, Tereza Vasileva, will share the challenges and joys of translating a classic of this magnitude. Join us to celebrate this majestic work and discuss the history, culture, and spirituality of ancient Japan.
