Discussion with Prof. Giulio Tremonti and presentation of "The Criminogenic State"
On February 17 at 10:00 AM, the discussion "What Can the State Do?" will be held in the Aula of Sofia University. The event is organized by the Cultural Center of Sofia University and Confindustria Bulgaria, the Italian industry association, and the focus will be on the book "The Criminogenic State" by Prof. Giulio Tremonti, who will visit Bulgaria specifically for this occasion.
"The Criminogenic State" focuses on the economic and political history of Italy from the late 1940s to the middle of the last decade of the 20th century to explain the logic of many problems in today's world, including the state of democracy in Europe.
Participants in the conversation, moderated by Boyko Vassilev, will include Prof. Daniel Valchev, Prof. Svetoslav Malinov, Dr. Parvan Simeonov, Assoc. Prof. Ivan Angelov, and the book's translator, Yordan Vassilev. Official guests of the event are H.E.
