Nikolay Petkov is a Bulgarian writer and priest.
Born on July 15, 1971, in Veliko Tarnovo. From 1989 to 1995 he studied at the University of Veliko Tarnovo. He studied Bulgarian philology, philosophy and theology at the same time. Between 1998 and 2000 he taught ancient philosophy at the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Veliko Tarnovo "St. St. Cyril and Methodius". At that time he wrote the books "Arche" - a collection of Ancient and Medieval Culture and "The Divine Names in the Philosophy of Procle Diadoch".
In 2002 he was ordained by Metropolitan Gregory of Veliko Tarnovo. Since the end of 2003, he has been a priest in the Varna diocese, in the church "St. Prophet Elijah" in the Divdyadovo district, Shumen.
