Prof. Lazar Koprinarov, Dr.Sc. graduated from the State University of Sofia with a major in philosophy and then from the Moscow State University with a major in philosophy and aesthetics. The theme of his dissertation was "Culture against the Cruelty. Ortega y Gasset's Ideas for Culture ".
The fields of his scientific interests are social philosophy, aesthetics, European research and international relations.
He teaches philosophy at the Southwest University ‘Neofit Rilski’ in Blagoevgrad. He has authored several books, including The Argument of Freedom, Mobilis in mobile, Essay on the Mobile Person, Blending Cultures, and Europe’s Europeanisation. Between 2001 and 2006 he served as Bulgaria’s Ambassador to Venezuela.
