Vladimir Gadzhev (1944) is a prominent jazz critic, journalist and lecturer in history of jazz, pop and rock music at the Lyubomir Pipkov National Music School in Sofia. For the past four decades, he has been a correspondent for the specialized editions Melodie, Czechoslovakia and the Jazz Forum, an organ of the International Jazz Federation, and an associate of the magazines Jazz Podium and Musica Jazz, Italy. In 2000, the German publishing house Könemann and the Bulgarian "Kibea" published his  "Illustrated Encyclopedia of Musical Instruments all over the world" (artist Anton Radevski). In 2004, his book "Sublime Love - Vesselin Nikolov and his jazz band White, Green and Red" appeared. 

А 20-page synthesis of Vladimir Gadzhev's new book was demanded by Columbia University in New York for the inclusion in voluminous "Jazz History of the World" series.
