Ivan Kostov. Volume 2, Part 1 (1991-1996)

In your hands is the next volume of the trilogy Ivan Kostov" (series "Transition. Behind the scenes"). Because of the saturation of the period covered (1991-2001), the second volume had to be divided into two parts; the first is the period from 1991 to 1996. Later in the autumn of this year, the second part of the volume was released.

I remain faithful to my basic research principle: the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. After studying Ivan Kostov's path in the first volume before November 10, 1989 and the early period after the fall of the totalitarian regime, here I emphasized the analysis of another, also very important and interesting period in the life and development of Ivan Kostov, the politician. I analyzed the years in which he is a finance minister (first in the government of Dimitar Popov and then in Philip Dimitrov), following my second basic principle: to always be as objective as possible. Here, for the first time, you will see and read documents from prosecution archives, at various ministries and offices, which are related to the most prominent scams during the time of Ivan Kostov as finance minister. I included many documents related to the people in Kostov's closest circle (almost all connected with the BCP and the services).
