Ivan Kostov. Volume 1 (1949-1991)

This book is not an official biography of Ivan Kostov. The goal I had when writing the series was to try to get to know the maximum number of facts, events and decisions of his life and activity as a lecturer on ideological discipline and a nomenclature before 10 November 1989 and as a politician and a participant in management after that. All papers applied as a facsimile in the book I found in my several years of research in various archives. I publish the facts and documents relating to different periods of Ivan Kostov's life and career as I have found, seen, read and analyzed. Let me explicitly point out: over 90% of these archival documents are completely unknown to researchers and the general public. They have never been introduced in scientific and public turn and are published for the first time. This makes them a solid, authentic and very meaningful source for the reconstruction of his work as a lecturer, nomenclature and politician.
