Ivan Dochev

Radko Dachev Radkov or priest Ivan Dochev was born on 3 August 1879 in the village of Pisanets, Rousse. Radko received his primary education in his native village and in 1894 he finished high school in Rousse. In the period 1894-1899 he studied at the Samokov Theological School, then became a teacher in the village of Pisanets. Here in 1901 he founded the Prosveta Chitalishte and a mutual fund for his relatives.
