Ivan Atanasov (born 1979) graduated in English Philology at Plovdiv University "Paisii Hilendarski" and worked for almost two decades as a translator, reviewer and editor for various publishing houses. He has three nominations for artistic translation - two for the Plovdiv Prize and one for the Krastan Dyankov Prize. In 2012 he won the Blogger Jury Award "Book for You" for the translation of "Books of Blood" by Clive Barker. He is also an administrator of the Bulgarian forum dedicated to Stephen King and secretary of the club of horror authors "Lazarus".
