Itzhak Bentov

Itzhak Bentov (1923–1979) was a Czechoslovakian-born Israeli-American scientist, mechanical engineer, inventor, mystic, and author. His numerous inventions, including the steerable cardiac catheter, helped advance biomedical technology. He was also one of the early pioneers of what we today call consciousness studies. Bentov combined his brilliant grasp of mechanisms and structures with an interest in meditation to describe quantum physics and states of higher consciousness in a way that is truly accessible to readers.
