Irena Krasteva teaches theory and practice of translation at the Department of Roman Studies at the Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski". Doctor of Semiology at the University of Paris 7 and Doctor of Philological Sciences at Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski". Author of Pascal Quignard: la fascination du fragmentaire (2008), Pour comprendre la traduction (2009) and The Hermes Transformations (2015).
She is a translator of French and Italian Humanities. Correspondent of the French translation company SoFT. Associate member of the French Psychoanalytic Society Espace analytique. Lady of the Order "St. Sylvester".
