Academician Prof. Grigor Velev is the author of the monographs "Nationalism", "Dictatorship". Terror. Genocide. Chauvinism (Foundations of Communism, Fascism, National Socialism), "Bulgarian nationalism and its future"; "The Bulgarian National Cause (1762-2012)" and the four-volume "History of the Bulgarians from Macedonia".

 The first volume of "History of the Bulgarians from Macedonia" (Ancient Times, Middle Ages, Bulgarian Revival) was welcomed with great interest and attention by the audience and by the specialists. The second volume of this large-scale project has a clear, self-contained sound. This time in the focus of the author's attention is the Bulgarian national revolutionary movement in Macedonia from 1878 until the wars for national unification (1912-1918).
