Professor Kumanov's research activities are focused on the neuroendocrine control of human reproduction but also include andrology, metabolic disturbances, puberty, and aging. His research projects are dedicated to the relationship between melatonin and gonadotropin secretion, anthropology of normal puberty, genetics, and epidemiology of pubertal disorders and inborn abnormalities of genital system. His original papers and review articles have been published in leading scientific journals.
His clinical practice covers reproductive endocrinology, metabolic diseases, and climacterics in both sexes. He also has extensive experience in the treatment of male infertility and hypogonadism and polycystic ovarian syndrome.
