Assoc. Prof. Dr. Elena Mermeklieva, Ph.D.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Elena Mermeklievа, Ph.D. is a specialist in ophthalmology. She graduated from the Medical University in Sofia in 1997, and in 2002 she has a recognized specialty in ophthalmology. Dr. Merkemlieva has various specializations abroad in this field, including in UK, USA, Slovenia, Austria, India. She has co-authored 21 scientific papers and reports.

At present, Dr. Merkemlieva is an ophthalmologist at the University Hospital "Alexandrovska", Department of Ophthalmology, Medical University - Sofia.
