Dean Burnett

Dean Burnett is a doctor of neuroscience, Guardian blogger, sometimes comedian and, as of 2016, bestselling international author thanks to his debut book The Idiot Brain. The success of his first book led to him writing the follow up The Happy Brain, published May 2018. Dean was born and raised in Pontycymer, South Wales, but now lives in Cardiff with his wife, two children, and alarmingly sociopathic cat, Pickle.
