Brian C. Muraresku holds a bachelor's degree in Latin, Greek, and Sanskrit from Brown University. A graduate of Georgetown University Law Center and a member of the New York State Bar, he has been practicing international law for fifteen years. In 2016, he became the founder and executive director of Doctors for Cannabis Regulation. The organization's work has been featured on CNN and ESPN, as well as in The Washington Post and The San Francisco Chronicle. In a 2018 arbitration with the NFL, Muraresku represented the first professional athlete in the United States to seek a therapeutic use exemption for cannabis. The Immortality Key is his debut book.
