Boyan Ivantchev

Dr. Boyan Chr. Ivantchev has 23Y experience in the financial markets as a bank dealer and asset manager. Currently he is Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors in Advance Equity – Private Equity Fund. He is professor in Behavioral finance. Founder of the researches in that area and in neuroeconomics in Bulgaria, co-founder of The Millennium Project – Bulgarian Node. Ivantchev served as an Economical Advisor to the Deputy Prime Minister of Republic of Bulgaria 2005-09. He published original theory using first time the notion of Postmoney – “Money as Taboo and Postmoney” and the first book in Bulgarian language about behavioral finance “Anyone Can Invest Successfully: If Will Avoid Illusions and Irrational Behavior” and in year 2014 “History of Bulgarian Capital Markets 1862-1948”. In year 2015 he contributed with the chapter It’s Not Money Until It’s Postmoney in the bestselling book The Future of Business: Critical Insights into a Rapidly Changing World from 60 Future Thinkers, FutureScapes, UK, 2015, Rohit Talwar (Editor). Ivantchev concluded secondary school in Czechoslovakia then earned master doctoral degree in Warsaw School of Economics. Alumni of Harvard Kennedy School of Government; Ecole Nationale d’administration, Paris; Beijing Economical Academy and Chinese Academy of Governance. Fluent in Bulgarian, Polish, Czech, Slovak, Russian and English.
