Boyan Durankev was born in the previous millennium, a time when books were still an essential life necessity. He graduated with a degree in Strategic Planning and completed specializations in Russia, Germany, the Czech Republic, and the USA. Holding a PhD in Economics and the academic title of Professor from the Higher Attestation Commission (VAK), he has taught and continues to teach at numerous universities. He has been voted Professor No. 1 at the University of National and World Economy (UNWE) three times and has served as Chairman of the Council of Elders at UNWE. He is the author of over 300 monographs, textbooks, studies, articles, and international conference papers focusing on global studies, strategic planning, and marketing.
He is a member of the American Marketing Association, the New York Academy of Sciences, and National Geographic. He also serves as Vice President of the Bulgarian Marketing Association and is a member of the Board of Superbrands Bulgaria.
In 2022, he was awarded the title of Professor Emeritus.
