Rumen Stoichkov graduated in Bulgarian Philology and History at Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski" and has 30-year professional career as a journalist in the Bulgarian National Radio. For various programs and shows, mostly in Horizon, he is the author of more than 2000 reports, mostly in small settlements whose history and destiny have always excited him because they are not only regional but also a part of national memory, as he himself claims.
